With no independent Baptist missionaries in this country of nearly 1.5 million, a team of pioneer church planters is desperately needed. Unreached people groups of the interior present a fruitful open door for the gospel.

Unreached areas/peoples

Gabon is situated on the equator in Central Africa and is 77% tropical rain forest. Islam has grown in influence in the country since the President of Gabon converted. However, Bible-believing churches are also experiencing growth in recent years, and great potential waits for the dedicated missionary in Gabon.

Special projects/opportunities

Opportunities abound for evangelism and discipleship, and Bible institutes are needed to train national workers. This is one of the target nations from The 100 Nations Project.
