Current Churches & Ministries

BIMI missionaries have served in Ghana since 1975. Our missionaries are currently serving in a variety of church planting ministries including Christian Day Schools, village tent meetings, Vacation Bible Schools, regular worship services, village medical ministries, and building projects. BIMI missionaries have trained a number of national pastors at the Ghana Baptist Theological Institute in Accra.

Unreached areas/peoples

With over 23 million people, Ghana is a country with a great need for the Gospel.  One out of five Ghanaians is Muslim. Although two-thirds of the population claims to be Christian, in most of the over 100 people groups fewer than 5% have been evangelized.

Special projects/opportunities

Still a needy nation spiritually, the opportunities for reaching Ghana with the gospel are endless.
