The horrible genocide that plagued Rwanda in the mid-1990s and killed one million of her people has left a deep wound in this country of nearly 10 million. Many of those displaced by the war have returned to their homes, but the scars remain.

Only 2 of the 9 people groups in this small, land-locked country have a significant Christian church to attend. Because Rwanda does not issue missionary visas, church-planters must come as a professional such as a radio station operator, nurse, or teacher.
